Our COOP subject matter experts bring extensive experience in design, development and facilitation of testing for the following in the Virtual, Client/Server, Mainframe or nTier environments:

  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
  • Continuity of Operation Planning (COOP)
  • IT Disaster Recovery Plan

IT Security Review and Compliance Audit

IT security is not a one-time activity, it is an ongoing process. New vulnerabilities affecting infrastructure components and system applications are discovered almost daily, and business requirements constantly change, causing existing system configuration to undergo modifications and new components and applications to be introduced to meet the new demands. These types of changes and new introductions may also introduce vulnerabilities that were previously non-existent. Consequently, periodic audit of information systems are required to be carried out to ensure security.

IPCS assists clients in conducting comprehensive IT security audit, evaluating existing IT security policies and practices in relation to current industry standards and best practices. This includes:

  • Vulnerability assessment (risk of intrusion into the system).
  • Compliance testing to determine whether client policies have been properly implemented and are currently operating.
  • Penetration testing to ascertain whether systems could withstand attacks from a malicious hacker.
  • Application controls review with respect to data processing and user access security.

Our SMEs work with appropriate client departments, teams and stakeholders in conducting such IT security assessments to deliver such reports on the IT security audit and penetration testing and results of performance system applications reviews.
